Resiliency is defined as: "The ability to call upon inner strength and keep moving forward even when things are tough."
I believe we are all resilient. We move forward in times of great loss, sadness, grief and even despair. Our movement is sometimes very slow. But it is movement, and it is like treading water. You may not be getting any where but you are not going under either.
When life grabs you, knocks you around a bit. Let go of what 'was'. Adjust, regroup, be the best you that you can be under the current circumstances. We don't usually know the why's. Why me? Why now? How come? But we can all be survivors.
