This has been a year of more changes. I have come to realize change is change. I try to avoid labels: good change / bad change. It is just change and as I come closer to finding peace, true inner peace I am better at living and loving during each part of my journey.
How have I found inner peace? Better said: how am I finding inner peace. It can be elusive. Here one moment and gone like a Tornado the next.
Here are the steps that are working for me. Mind you I can not take credit for any of these steps, but I can take credit for making them part of my life. My daily life.
Blessings to all and I hope each of you can find your peace.

Here are the steps that are working for me. Mind you I can not take credit for any of these steps, but I can take credit for making them part of my life. My daily life.
- Breathe. Sounds so simple, we all do it. Breathe and feel your breath and give thanks.
- Gratitude. I focus on what I have and how thankful I am to have it. I have enough. I am enough.
- Monitor my thoughts. Your mind can take you anywhere, we do control our minds.
- Be here, be now. Realize what are your distractions: Facebook, email, news. I have control of where I put my free time, and how wisely or foolishly I spend it.
- Pray. For me it is often long conversations with God and his Angel messengers.
- Quiet time. Sometimes it is meditation. Sometimes it is pulling weeds. Walking in the woods. Watching dogs play. Watching Maury my cat sleep.
- Awareness. I have learned to know what pollutes my life. At times it is the news, other times I realize it is just the clutter in my mind or in my home. My awareness helps me to not make a mountain out of a mole hill.
- Spreading love and kindness. Every moment we interact with each other and all that surrounds us we can send love and blessings.
Blessings to all and I hope each of you can find your peace.
